Dear Caleb,
It is my pleasure to extend an offer of employment with Ruppert Landscape as
Assistant Field Manager. We are hopeful that you will strongly consider this offer, as

include, but are not limited to:
Responsibilities

Performing landscape management duties as directed by Field Managers
Ability to operate various mowing and finishing equipment, performing labor functions,
mulching, installation, etc.

Maintain a clean, professional appearance at all times

Perform other various duties assigned
Prior industry experience is not required
Hours are typically 40-45 per week, M-F (some Saturdays in Spring and Fall)
Qualifications
Must be able to lift 50lbs
Work Hours:
Our scheduled work week is from 7 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, but some
Saturdays may be required. Overtime is minimal; however, there will be a few times
throughout the year where you may be asked to put in a few additional hours as needed.
Hourly Rate:
Your hourly rate will be $20ꢀꢁꢁ/hour,with the benefits included below.
Evaluations:
We conduct performance reviews/evaluations 30 days from date of hire, 7 months from
date of hire, on your one-year anniversary, 18 months from date of hire, and annual
evaluation from your two-year anniversary onward.

Benefits: Your benefits package would be as follows, with any necessary adjustments

Health, dental and vision insurance: Group health, dental and vision insurance is
available for enrollment. The company pays a portion (usually 50%) of the cost of the
medical premium and the employee pays the other portion with pretax dollars.
Vacation pay: After 90 days of service, one week of paid vacation for the first year
(prorated amount for the remainder of this year is5 days); two weeks years two
through seven; three weeks thereafter. Vacation days cannot be carried over from
one year into the next.

Paid holidays: After 1 year of service, six paid holidays include New Year's Day,
Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas
Day.
401(k) plan: The company matches 35% of each dollar you've invested up to 6% of
your salary (eligible after 90 days). All full-time employees over 18 years of age are
automatically enrolled at an initial contribution rate of 2% of their pay on the first of
the month following 90 days of service and are automatically increased to 3% after
the first year. You may choose to opt out of the plan or change your contribution rate
at any time.
